Force 2.0
Wage war on the trails. Appropriately named, as it’s something to be reckoned with, the Force is the ultimate in all-mountain versatility. Five-plus inches of travel front and rear make drops, rocks, and roots mere blips on your rider radar. And with GT’s patented I-drive system, you’ll get uphill faster than a speeding bullet. Go ahead, wage war on those trails.

All Mountain Materials
Our All-Mountain bikes are forged using either our Monocoque fabrication process or a lighter-weight alloy blend.
Our Monocoque fabrication process can form shapes that withstand exceptionally merciless terrain. Perfectly suited for the rigors of all-out, high-speed gravity riding.
FOC AM fabrication yields a frame that’s almost as rugged as our XM blend, but in a lighter-weight package, by using smaller tube diameters and different lay-up protocols. But don’t let the weight fool you. It’s still strong enough to handle a good whipping.

Independent Drivetrain™
This suspension does its job. Period. Because it operates independently of the drivetrain, the suspension can focus solely on its intended purpose – a smoother, faster ride – without making compromises in pedaling efficiency. And because it’s an inherently simple design, it’s easy to set up, ride and maintain. Sound good? Good.

Tapered Head Tube
Our forged, tapered head tube affords the same steering response and stiffness without suffering a weight penalty.

Comments about gt Force 2.0:
I have been riding the Force 2.0 on various terain. I find the bike climbs very well and decend EXCEPTIONALY well. The fork and shock work well together in both climb and decen. I have ridden the Force on both smooth fast well maintained trails and also rough rocky trails and thi sbike exceeded my expetations. I found myself looking for rougher rockier trails to see how hard I could push my bike and every time I came awy with a smile. The 2013 Force 2.0 i sa great allmountain machine. GET ON IT!
