Force Le
Make your heart beat a little too fast. Progress in Enduro doesn’t come without scaring yourself a few too many times, pushing your limits a little further each ride. The Force LE is purpose built to be pedal friendly and descent devouring, so you can charge hard over all of the most demanding terrain. It pushes you to go faster every time, and isn’t that what Enduro is all about?
"Dan Atherton put the stamp of approval on GT’s Force LE by riding it to win all five stages of the Superenduro at Finale Ligure, Italy – the crown jewel in the world’s most hotly contested Enduro series. The Force LE certainly has what it takes. From its 740mm-wide Kore handlebar and 50-millimeter Easton stem, back to its Easton Haven rear wheel, the Force LE’s spec chart reads like an Enduro racer’s Christmas wish-list. It’s all there: two-by-ten drivetrain, roller chainguide, Reverb dropper post, Fox CTD suspension, and GT even outfits the Force LE with a Cane Creek Angle Set headset for that just-right head angle." - PinkBike, March 2013

Enduro Material
Different descents call for different bikes. Designed for the 40+ minute enduro races, like Les Deux Alps Mountain of Hell, GT Enduro bikes combine the stability and steering control of race-course dedicated Gravity rigs with pedal-friendly characteristics that keep them going on all but the steepest of climbs. The Monocoque XM Metal™ fabrication process can form shapes that withstand exceptionally merciless terrain. Hydroformed tubes are reshaped to direct material where it’s needed most, allowing it to exhibit superior strength-to-weight characteristics. Plus, they look good.

Independent Drivetrain™
This suspension does its job. Period. Because it operates independently of the drivetrain, the suspension can focus solely on its intended purpose – a smoother, faster ride – without making compromises in pedaling efficiency. And because it’s an inherently simple design, it’s easy to set up, ride and maintain. Sound good? Good.

The Bike is titled as an Enduro bike, but its actually an amazing pedaler, goes down descents like a full on freeride bike, its a shame there aren't more people riding those amazing rigs, because as far as AM/Enduro bikes go, this is one of the best!

Ride all over the Laguna Beach area, and this bike is fine no matter what I'm riding in, downhill, uphill, just cruising around, on the rocks or road or dirt. Seems like a great utility bike to be sure. Love the adjustable seat post, don't know how I rode without one. And the gears and drivetrain are first rate, it just feels more solid than my prior bike. Really like this bike, use it four to five days a week.

Comments about gt Force Le:
I have been riding since 1992 and on full suspension since 1995 so I have seen it all. I have 4 months on this bike and I everything works perfectly. I ride in Central Pennsylvania; steep ups, steep downs, rock gardens, roots, 4' drops and tight single track. The LE has proven itself in every category; it is stout without feeling heavy and just soaks up everything I throw at it. I highly recommend this bike.
