Independent Drivetrain™
This suspension does its job. Period. Because it operates independently of the drivetrain, the suspension can focus solely on its intended purpose – a smoother, faster ride – without making compromises in pedaling efficiency. And because it’s an inherently simple design, it’s easy to set up, ride and maintain. Sound good? Good.

Triple Triangle™
Originally developed to extend the frame life, stiffen the rear triangle and thus create a faster, more responsive ride, the Triple Triangle™ frame has transcended its role as just another tech story and become an iconic symbol of who we are and what we stand for.

Forged Elements
We forge every single linkage and pivot on all of our dual-suspension bikes. We also forge areas of the frame that are prone to stress or abuse, such as head tubes, bottom brackets and dropouts.

1 1⁄8" x 1 1⁄8" Head Tube
Light on grams, not on performance. These forged construction head tubes are as capable of handling marathon trail sessions as they are of chasing points on the XC pro circuit.

Comments about gt Aggressor 1.0:
This bike is great. I ride seriously in the rough terrain outside of Cairo, Egypt. The bike goes everywhere the high-dollar full suspension bikes in my riding group go. It climbs like a mountain goat & is super fast in the flats. I ride 40+ offroad km per week. I have yet to bottom out the 80 mm travel fork. I am an equipment minimalist, so the stock fork, brakes, & drive components do fine. I do not abuse the bike, but my trails in Egypt are pretty technical. I have the polished/blue/green model & it's beautiful & have gotten a lot of compliments on it.
The stock seat is a little firm for me. The stock speed tires roll really fast, but I've worn out the rear in two months but only due to the rocks on my trails. I'm upgrading to Weirwolf 2.3's for more corner & downhill stability. The chain slap protective strip needs to be tougher.
If the GT Aggressor 1.0 can handle the rough terrain in Egypt, it will take anything.- Was this a gift?:
