Elite Masters Friday:   5th semi
Elite Masters Grands:   6th semi
Masters Open Grands:   2nd

 

Although this year’s performance at the NBL Grands wasn’t as good as some he’s had in the past, Big Daddy had a good weekend on the track.  He had close call 5th place finish in the semi final on Friday night and a good but not good enough race in the semi on Saturday night in the Masters class.  In the open class on Sunday where he is allowed to race his cruiser against others on the 20’s, he grabbed the early lead with a great start and first straight.  He bobbled a bit on the last straight and had to settle for 2nd overall for the day.  All in all, it was a good job.

 

Bubba Gonzales:
10 expert:                    1st
10 cruiser:                 1st

 

It’s been a seemingly long comeback for Bubba with the wrist injury, but he sure looks like all is now 100%.  He was absolutely UNSTOPABLE this weekend in Louisville, KY at the NBL Grands.  He won both 10 expert and 10 cruiser and earned the number one plate in both classes.  Great job Bubba!  Your 29 year-old mom must be so proud!
