2013 Avalanche 2.0

Rowdy, yet refined. Riding every day isn’t a luxury most people get, but living the life of a weekend warrior doesn’t mean you should take the back seat when it comes to mountain biking opulence. The Avalanche takes you from your morning espresso stop up twisted trails, and hightailing down descents with a level of class usually reserved for the elite. Simply put, this bike is rowdy, yet refined.

  • Triple Triangle™

Originally developed to extend the frame life, stiffen the rear triangle and thus create a faster, more responsive ride, the Triple Triangle™ frame has transcended its role as just another tech story and become an iconic symbol of who we are and what we stand for.

  • Forged Elements

We forge every single linkage and pivot on all of our dual-suspension bikes. We also forge areas of the frame that are prone to stress or abuse, such as head tubes, bottom brackets and dropouts.

  • 1 1⁄8" x 1 1⁄8" Head Tube

Light on grams, not on performance. These forged construction head tubes are as capable of handling marathon trail sessions as they are of chasing points on the XC pro circuit.

        Comments about gt Avalanche 2.0:

I use this bike as a commuter and weekend mountain bike. The frame is fantastic rims and tyres are also good.

Only bad point is the deralier hits alot of stuff and gets quite annoying.
