The final World Cup race was held in Schladming, Austria.  A lot was on the line - final rankings for the 2008 season and for Burry Stander, the chance to win the overall U23 XC title.

 

This Austrian location has been part of the World Cup for years and it is a tough, rocky and gritty course.  This didn't faze GT's XC riders Burry Stander and Todd Wells.

 

Burry came across the finish line in 10th place and Todd was right behind him in 11th place.  Burry's final standing put him in first place in the U23 category - congrats Burry!
