Race Report: WC #2 Cairns, Australia.

April 21-23rd.

In the Jungle.

In the jungle, the mighty jungle...the race team walked tonight. Cairns has a lot to offer, including snakes, spiders and Wyn's banana mic that riders were trying to avoid all week. Wyn continues to recover from his concussion and, as he was not 100% to race just yet, sets his sights on future events. Get better soon Wyn!

Intermittent showers would make for some challenging conditions in the slip and slide rock garden during Qualifying. The weather would dry up for the finals making for tacky conditions.

Junior aka. Jackson Frew has been showing his consistency and comfort on his home track. He would finish 4th overall in the talented juniors field.

Despite the fact that Sambo is still recovering from his rib injury sustained at Lourdes, Sambo gave it his all here on the rough tracks of cairns. Unfortunately he would have a crash that put him in 77th place.

Brook is continuting to move in the right direction. He would find more speed here in Cairns and finish 19th.

Always a great time at the GT Pits! Feeding the hungry and enjoying the race. Be sure to drop by the GT Pits at the next World Cup. See you in Scotland!
