GT News: Unofficial/Official Pump Track Worlds Contest - Pre World Championships

Tonight was the Unofficial/Official Pump Track Worlds here in Canberra, Australia. The event was held in the backyard of Aussie local GarethPaton and was sponsored by a long list of industry and local businesssupporters. With $2500 up for grabs to the winner, all of the worldsfastest MTBers were in attendance. After qualifying the top-15 fastest, Mick was the 3rd fastest going into the final. Each of the finalists had to pump out six laps with no pedaling. After all of the smack talk, streaking (yes, streaking!) and hard-charging riding, GT Bicycles' Mick Hannah came out on top. Even though it was not a sanctioned event, the bragging rights and respect earned for the win mean as much as any other title event out there. GT Bicycles is proud to be supported by:
