This weekend’s NBL Jackpot Nationals in Las Vegas, NV was the second round of the 2009 NBL Pro Series.  With Mike Day off on a GT promotional trip to Ray’s MTB park in Ohio, and Joey Bradford skipping this event to prepare for next week’s USAC National Championships, it was up to Big Daddy Rupe to fly the GT colors.  He flew them proudly as he rode well on Saturday, nailing down the fourth place in Masters.  Sunday would go a bit better, as he ended the day with a solid third place. It was nice to see the 45 year old Rupe on the podium again.
