HYDROFORM TUBING

Hydroformed tubes are reshaped to direct material where it’s needed most, allowing it to exhibit superior strength-to-weight characteristics. Plus, they look good.

FORGED ELEMENTS

We forge every single linkage and pivot on all of our dual-suspension bikes. We also forge areas of the frame that are prone to stress or abuse, such as head tubes, bottom brackets and dropouts.

1 1⁄2" X 1 1⁄2" HEAD TUBE

The wider diameter provides an exceptionally strong, stiff structure with improved steering response, reduced flex and greater impact deflection at high speeds in rough terrain.

TAPERED HEAD TUBE

Our forged, tapered head tube affords the same steering response and stiffness without suffering a weight penalty.

1⁄8" X 1 1⁄8" HEAD TUBE

Light on grams, not on performance. These forged construction head tubes are as capable of handling marathon trail sessions as they are of chasing points on the XC pro circuit.

FOC XM

FOC XM optimizes our XM blend of carbon to withstand the abuse of the UCI World Cup DH circuit. The proof ? The first (and only) full-carbon frames to take home both a DH World Cup win and a DH World Championship Podium. It’s also the first (and only) full-carbon frame trusted by Atherton Racing.

FOC AM

FOC AM fabrication yields a frame that’s almost as rugged as our XM blend, but in a lighter-weight package, by using smaller tube diameters and different lay-up protocols. But don’t let the weight fool you. It’s still strong enough to handle a good whipping.

FOC ULTRA

FOC Ultra takes a minimalist approach to carbon fabrication by using the fewest layers of high-modulus carbon possible to achieve a stiff, reliable, responsive ride. In other words, light enough for our pelotonready machines, burly enough for our XC race bikes.
