USA BMX Silver Dollar Nationals

I feel like I was just typing the 2015 season wrap up race report and now another epic season has already begun! This last weekend marks the beginning of the 2016 USA BMX nation series and what better place to start things out then in Las Vegas! We had a small team head out, but as always they did an awesome job representing. Check out the below for individual rider highlights.
Kicking things off is our little shredder Aiden Otten. I’m sure Aiden wanted to start off the year a little better then he did, but Vegas is always one of the hardest races of the year due to how small the track is. He was seen trying to jump everything he possibly could during practice but come race time all he could make happen was a 7th place on Sunday.
Next up, rocking that big red #1 is Dougie Butcher! This kid had a rough finish to last year due to injuries, but is coming out swinging already this season. He was looking good all weekend and left Vegas with a 3rd in his cruiser class and two 4th place finishes in his age class. He will be the kid to watch this year in the 17-18X class this season!
Saving the best for last the USA BMX National Number One girl and GT Superstar Sophia Foresta! This girl has the #1 plate on her bike for a reason. She has been putting in some major work the last few months and it showed. She came to Vegas with a goal of winning and did nothing but that taking home the big WINS both days in Vegas!
Now we have about a month off before we head to Phoenix for the first round of the USA BMX Pro series. The whole team will be in attendance for this event and we are looking forward to having everyone together. Thank you for the continued support this season and we know it will be another successful year aboard our GT Bikes!
