Pouring rain couldn't put a damper on this year's US Open of Mountain Biking in Killington, Vermont. With the event in GT's own back yard, we couldn't say no to sponsoring the Downhill and Enduro events, and bringing staff, ambassadors and GT athletes from all-over the world along for the fun. 7 podiums, countless fist bumps and a crap ton of good times were had. Highlights from the weekend are below!

Wyn Masters came across the DH finish line with a wheelie good result (sorry, we had to). 3rd place!

"It was fun to come to the USA and ride, hang out and race with the GT family. I was stoked on beating my team manager, Mark Maurissen, and hope to carry the momentum onto the Whistler EWS!" - Noga Korem, GT Factory Racing

"Heading up to the US Open I wasn't sure if I would be able to compete due to a shoulder injury but with some rest and TLC from our team soignieur I was stoked to pull off third place! Having the whole GT crew together was the icing on the cake!" Rachel Strait, GT Wing Project

It was cool to have most of the GT family together, it doesn't happen very often. I had a good time racing the enduro and riding my Force in the bike park over the week. I was impressed by the quality of the trails at Killington Bike Park! - Martin Maes, GT Factory Racing

T-Mac sent it to second in the Whip-Offs followed by GT Coalition rider David Lieb who took 3rd, while Moto legend Doug Henry rode a modified GT Fury to first place in the Adaptive DH race.

Of course, it wouldn't be a GT party without Hans "Now Way" Rey!

"Awesome race and festival atmosphere at the US Open. Killington is such a great destination with a fun bike park and lots of trails for all skill levels. No matter if amateur, pro or just soaking in the event as a spectator its worth a visit, it sure will be in my calendar again for next year. Loved riding Blue Magic with moto legends Doug Henry and Ronnie Renner; and enjoyed watching Team GT race their hearts and bikes to the podiums in all the disciplines." - Hans Rey, GT Wingman

That's all from us for now. Keep an eye on our social media channles to keep up with the team at Crankwrox Whistler and the Mont-Sainte-Anne DH World Cup! The GT Crew
